This section includes older hand-waxed batik designs using a batik cap from our Artisan Batik past production.
These batiks use a combination of techniques to produce their one-of-a-kind beauty.
The lighter areas are the part that is drawn in by hand with a canting (sort of like a fountain pen for wax) which gives this fabric its distinctive look.
Others have been hand-painted in addition to the traditional cap method.
These are LUNN FABRICS Batiks and not part of the Artisan Batik line.
These Batik fabrics are hand-made using traditional techniques in Java, Indonesia.
All fabrics are 100% cotton and 44" wide unless noted otherwise.
Designed by Debra Lunn and Michael Mrowka.
We give back to the Batik Community by giving 5% of all gross sales to Ganesa Library in Solo, Java, Indonesia.
